Anglian Land Services keeps your outdoor spaces looking their best all year round. From regular grass cutting to complete landscape management, we help businesses, councils, and organisations across Essex, Hertfordshire, Suffolk, Norfolk, and Cambridgeshire maintain professional, presentable grounds.
Anglian Land Services is a family-run grounds maintenance company based in East Anglia. We’ve built our reputation on delivering reliable, high-quality outdoor space management for businesses, councils, and organisations across Essex, Hertfordshire, Suffolk, Norfolk, and Cambridgeshire. Our team combines local knowledge with modern equipment and techniques to keep commercial properties looking professional throughout the year.
What sets us apart is our personal approach to service. As a family business, we take pride in building long-term relationships with our clients and truly understanding their sites. We’re not just another contractor turning up to tick boxes. We’re your local grounds maintenance partner who responds quickly, communicates clearly, and always delivers on our promises. Whether you need regular maintenance visits or specialist project work, we’ll tailor our services to match your requirements and budget.
Six service areas, one point of contact. Every service is delivered by our own trained, accredited team — never subcontracted out.
We provide scheduled maintenance visits to keep your property looking tidy and professional throughout every season, working around your operations to minimise disruption.
Our qualified arborists provide expert tree and hedge care to keep your planted areas healthy, safe, and attractive throughout the year.
We clear overgrown, neglected, or post-construction sites to restore them to usable condition, handling everything from initial clearance through to final cleaning.
Our groundworks team delivers construction and landscaping projects that improve site functionality and appearance, from drainage solutions to complete installations.
We restore hard surfaces across your site, removing the dirt, algae, moss and staining that build up on paths, car parks and building frontages. Slippery paving is a safety issue as well as a presentation one, so most sites schedule this work before winter.
We load, transport and dispose of commercial and green waste from your site, and every load comes with a waste transfer note showing what was taken and which licensed site it went to. On a live commercial site that paperwork matters as much as the clearance.
We adapt our services to meet the specific requirements of different industries across East Anglia.

We turn up when promised and respond quickly when you need us, earning trust through consistent dependability.
A commercial contract normally covers grass cutting, hedge cutting, weed control, litter picking and leaf clearance, set to a schedule that changes with the season. Most sites also add winter gritting, tree work and hard surface cleaning. We build the list around your site rather than selling a fixed package, so you only pay for the work your grounds actually need.
Four things at minimum. How often we visit, broken down by service and by season. A measurable standard, such as a maximum grass height rather than “keep it tidy”. What happens if a visit is missed. And how extra work is priced and approved before anyone starts. If a quote does not cover those four points, it is a price rather than a contract.
It depends on the size of the site, how often you need us and how much of the work is machinery based. We price after a site visit, not from a satellite image, so the number you get is the number you pay. Travel is built into the quoted price for sites inside our normal patch.
Grass grows hard from April to October and barely at all in January, so a flat monthly visit all year is usually the wrong shape. Most commercial sites move to weekly or fortnightly visits through spring and summer, fortnightly then monthly through autumn, and monthly plus winter callouts from December.
We work from a yard at Tolleshunt Major near Maldon and cover Essex, Hertfordshire, Suffolk, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire. If your site is not on our areas we cover page it is still worth asking, because we usually cover the surrounding villages too.
Yes. We carry public liability and employers’ liability cover, and we can send the certificates before you sign anything. Green waste and site waste leave with a transfer note showing what was taken and where it went, which matters if you have a duty of care as the site occupier.
Anglian Land Services provided a professional, polite and punctual team to complete my recent project. They were understanding in what I needed to achieve and suggested good ideas along the design process to help achieve this. When carrying out the work ALS worked safely and efficiently completing tasks. If changes had to be made, they were accommodating and worked with us to create the best outcome. I am very happy with their work and would highly recommend.
Anglian Land Services provide me with a friendly, approachable and reliable service for maintenance work at our stable yard. They’re always on time and easily contactable to discuss projects.
Our teams cover commercial sites across five counties, with regular maintenance rounds and rapid-response availability throughout the region.
Tell us about your site and we’ll come back to you within one working day — usually sooner. No obligation, no pressure.
